The Crawford County Agricultural Society board of directors met in a special meeting on June 17, 2020. After receiving the Governors new guidelines for the Responsible Restart Ohio, the board voted to continue planning and go ahead with a full 2020 fair. There will be some modifications that will be forthcoming. The updated guidelines still present some challenges that must and will be addressed.
We are confident that the livestock shows, merchant exhibits, food concessions and midway will have a similar look with adjustments for social distances and sanitation. Camping will also be offered.
Rides will be included with admission.
The areas subject to the most change and still under review are the midway, carnival, livestock sale along with the grandstand events, but we feel we are going to go on with the 2020 fair with adjustments as planned.
We are working with the Crawford County Health Department to come up with a plan to have a safe and fun fair for all.
The pandemic, along with social demonstrations, remain situations which require constant attention.
